V+ Remote control

Why are there no LG remote control codes in my new V+? It seems every other brand in the world is available but not LG – which is a massive company.
Does anyone know? It seems a glaring omission.

Re: V+ Remote control

Its the same (well nearly) with the Samsung boxes. I have a 17" LCD TV in the bedroom and the codes don't work that - so I have two remotes on the bedside table.

Re: V+ Remote control

Is there a list of codes anywhere? Be interested to see if Hannspree is on it? Due to get V+ soon and was wondering if the remote would work. In all honesty all it would need to do on the tv is switch sources / volume and on/off. Pretty much everything else will now be through the V+ box (I hope).

edit: Found pdf for tv codes, can't see Hannspree in it though

Re: V+ Remote control

Think this is my first post and know how many people are looking for working Samsung codes.

Have just done a Google search and found that 0079 works for me!

Had tried every code anyone thought would work but up until now had no luck.

The codes aren't in the manual. They are listed in the 'help' files on your V+. Hope this helps.

There are a few places on the forum with links to the pdf manuals - just pop in a search and you can print one out.

LG = "Lucky Goldstar". The codes are listed under "Goldstar".
