Just had V+ fitted. I've read the guide but cant see how to record a program and then before its finished start watching it from the beginning.
Basically i want to watch the footy tonight but have to go out for half an hour just before it starts. If I cant do that, how long can you 'pause' live tv for, is there a cutoff time ?
You can start watching a programming from the beginning before it has finished recording. Just go to your recorded programmes list and it should appear there, then select it to watch.
Alternatively you can rewind live TV for up to 90 mins provided the channel hasn't been changed within that time.
Just press record to start the recording, them when you are ready to watch, press the v+/TVDrive button, recorded programs, recorded by date and select the program you want to watch. The prog will still record while you watch from the beginning.
