NO HD Channels on V+

NO HD Channels on V+

Hey guys...

i had my V+ box fitted yesterday @ 10am and iv sat all day waiting for the bbc HD preview coming on..

in the program guide it tells u that robin hood is on ETC

however everytime i go to the channel i get the service is currently unavailable or .. just a blank screen..

i called last nite regarding it and was told that the channels are not currently broadcasting....

Anyone any ideas.. Im on Uddingston UBR
I Live in Airdrie just outside Glasgow.

Anyone else experiencing this same problem?

Definitely broadcasting last night, watched Robin Hood.
I had same problem after V+ was fitted. Call CS again, I'm afraid. I had to call them twice to get HD and my subscribed channels.

Have you given the box a chance to update, one engineer i have spoken to says the box needs to be left alone for a bit for all the updates to be applied. Some people get in there and give it some heavy duty use wihle it's trying to update. Try resetting and leaving for an hour or 2? Only a suggestion.

I had a problem with this when I had my V+ installed; took forever to get V+ / HD to work; eventually (after looking on CF - there was a post but I can't remember by whom) I found a reference to if you have multi-room turn off the second box then get CS to resend the activation as (in my case) the Samsung box was intercepting the activation.
