Anyone know any contacts for high level complaints
This is a problem ntl/virgin just don't seemed equipped to deal with.
Despite spending hours on the phone to Scots, Indians and Geordies being put thro' to customer concern, customer complaints, being cut-off having to start all over again etc, I still can't get the problem resolved.
The problem relates to a bunch of ntl cables which runs up the side of the building where I live then go over a flat roof. During the high winds in January this bunch of cables blew off the roof and pulled out half of the fixings that were holding them to the wall. The result, a god awful mess of unsupported cabling hanging down, banging into peoples windows when the wind blows, and well just looking unsightly. So I need to get somebody out to re-fix these cables to the wall, but customer service just don't seem capable of handling it.
Anyone help with contact email, phone number or even an address?

Re: Anyone know any contacts for high level complaints
I dare say this thread will be picked up by NTL associates and or Mods, they have contacts within NTL that can / could deal with this, I think

...Which is very good, but why does it have to come to this?
Wouldn't it be wonderful if you could just pick up the phone, or send an email (Hah!), and it got sorted?

It comes to this because the system doesn't always work.

Re: Anyone know any contacts for high level complaints
Hi, Sorry to hear about your cabling issue and that it has not been sorted! Customer care should sort this out (0845 454 0000). It's not difficult, a service order should be raised for recabling. The only thing i'm not sure about is whether you may or may not have to pay for the work to be done.
Hope you can get it sorted,
Yaz

Re: Anyone know any contacts for high level complaints
Spoke to people on the 0845 number on 19/1, 22/1, 26/1, and also tried going via head office number 01256 752000 and speaking to 3 different people on , 26/1, 1/2, 7/2, they were all in a department called customer concern so i thought I might get somewhere, but alas no.
So although it shouldn't be difficult it there is obviously a problem

It should not be hard to sort.
And whats more you should not have to pay, as was suggested earlier.
Perhaps if all else fails a photo of the mess to the local paper?
A woman nearby did the same thing over a problem she had, right after the story ran the problem was sorted! a shame it couldnt be done before the intervention of a paper?
You have obviously done all you could be expected to do, any damage caused by the loose cables should be charged to VM.

Re: Anyone know any contacts for high level complaints
Contact your local council environment section and tell them it's a health and safety issue, if a window breaks there will be flying glass, and if the cables loosen further there may be falling debris.
That should do it.
Then report them to the Health and Safety Executive, they have zero tolerance to this kind of stuff.

'Tell' them they have five days in which to fix it or you will get another company in to do it and send them the bill.
