V+ Installation Procedure

When the engineer installs it will he install it the same way as the normal stb's are installed?
Cos i might bring the standard stb downstairs later on and the virgin + box upstairs so im hoping all i have to do is take the white wire out and swap the boxes around

Re: V+ Installation Procedure

The V+ uses the same cable, only needs one cable, so same a standard stb. So in answer to your question, yes you can swap the boxes around.

However, the signal may be weeker upstairs, so may affect the V+, on the other hand it may not.

Re: V+ Installation Procedure

The V+ box needs the same signal strength as the standard STB.

Therefore if the STB is working OK upstairs you should, in theory, have no problems swapping them around.
