Question Getting Broadband Question!

Right - here's one for you lot!

It goes like this:

One of my girlfriends friends wants to get broadband. The line rental is paid to BT (I think) but calls are through CarPhoneWarehouse (Talk Talk)...

The phone services are paid by the account holder - the husband of the friend.

Would there be any difficultly in obtaining a broadband connection (possibly going for AOL) without having to communicate directly with the account holder?

Yes it's an odd situation I know!

Cheers
Lee

Re: Getting Broadband Question!

shouldnt be a problem, just call up and order it, and it should just get activated.

Re: Getting Broadband Question!

The friend would be the bill payer for the broadband (wife of the account holder)...

The problem is that the husband doesn't like any kinda of technology, so he's making it difficult for her to obtain any kinda of technology.

The only problem, maybe, if she goes with BT broadband. With BT it may be the case of the bill payer has to be the person who places the order. In the past I have placed orders with providers in my name, but someone else was the BT bill payer. Which provider is she thinking of going with ?

Re: Getting Broadband Question!

i remember couple of years back i was with aol and my brother was paying it through direct debit so i never got the bill or anything but if there is any problem with the internet than either you should know all the details of the person paying the bill or tell him to call the isp.
