Re: after installation

Mine told me the older boxes had manuals but because there were no Virgin Media branded manuals the NTL ones were withdrawn.
He also said he'd had a 45 minute instruction course and had then been sent out to install the boxes even tho he'd forgotten a lot of the info.
He showed me where the help file was - but, since I have no VOD or interactivity I am unable to find out anything !!

Re: after installation

Didn't you two get a user guide! I did, its a bit basic but its a proper branded virgin media one and it came in a hard plastic dvd case - so its a lie if the engineer said there wasn't one. I also got a HDMI lead even though I hadn't asked for one and I don't have a high def TV!

Well I wasn't expecting to get a manual based on what had previously been said here, but mine was installed last week and came with a manual (the Virgin Media manual). However I had already downloaded one from a thread on here.

Have a browse round the forum - there are at least 2 threads with links to the PDF of the manual.
