Cable output from a NTL Digital Set Top Box

Greetings,
I am trying to setp up my new PC to receive cable from a NTL (Pace) Digital Set Top Box. My PC has a TV Tuner Card and runs Windows Xp with Multimedia Centre. I cannot get it receive the video from the set top box. Does anyone know if there is some setting in the set top box that needs to be enabled?

Thanks in advance.

How is the STB plugged into the TV Tuner Card? By Composite?

It's connected from the cable out into the VHF/UHF connector on the video card.

Re: Cable output from a NTL Digital Set Top Box

So you are using a standard co-axial aerial (RF) lead from the STB to the computer? You can check the aerial is actually working by connecting it (without a scart) to your TV, and tuning say channel 6 on the TV to the output. If you can see a clear picture you know the STB output is fine. After that reconnect to your computer, and try tuning the PC's TV in card to the RF frequency.
