Re: sky movies 9

A bug in the PIN protection software means that for now, you'll have to press red to launch the PIN prompt if you're using the Virgin-branded EPG or a TVDrive/V+HD box. A solution is being worked on.

Re: sky movies 9

for some of us, the press red section doesn't work.

it seems to only be me though..

I press red, wait, like it tells me to, then nothing happens.

no placeholder to put my pin.

same with tv medic and bbc, itv, challenge interactive.

but the people at virgin keep fobbing me off saying it will work etc after being on hold for 82mins.

You're not the only one, does not work for me either and has not for last 8 days. Does work fine on the Samsung I had moved upstairs. I have rung customer services a few times, but get fobbed off the same as you. Luckily there has not been anything I want to watch on that channel yet.... But there will be soon.

Everything else works OK for me though, apart from the midnight, lag and lockups. It isn't just slow, it's completely unusable. Roughly 10 minutes to change a channel. OK if you immediately change again, but if left on channel for more than a few seconds, I have to wait another 10 minutes to change again.

Abs

Re: sky movies 9

I think they may be taking us seriously now as on tuesday I have a technician coming around to sort it.

They say there is a code fault on my account, blocking me from using Red Button and Movies 9, however if I access Virgin Central, it asks for the pin, no problems.

So be expecting another code drop everyone... as soon as the problem is sorted.
