Weird Email Sending Problem

Hi all,

Currently on Pipex adsl connection.
XP Pro
Oulook Express 6
Nortons Internet Security 2007
Bullguard 6.1 Firewall

Problem is I cannot send to a person with an email domain of @ultrame.co.uk

I have 3 email accounts set up all sending from the smtp of pipex and all fail with the following message -

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Subject 'test', Account: 'ADSL', Server: 'smtpauth.dsl.pipex.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F

I have increased the timeouts to the server to max and it still fails.

I have removed from the address book and tried to send manually by typing in the persons email addresss and still the same.

Disabled and even uninstalled Bullguard and Nortons and still the same problem.

I have even removed and readded the email accounts and still the same problem.

Yet if I go to my webmail or phone email I can send to the account with no problems.

Pulling my hair out here as to what it is blocking me sending from a home pc as can send to the domain from work or from my mobile phone without any problems.

Any ideas.

Re: Weird Email Sending Problem

It might be because ultrame.co.uk is showing as an unregistered domain and I can't ping or trace to it.
