Poor RF Output from Samsung 2110c

Hi Guys,

My first question on here, though I've been lurking around for a little while.

We had NTL installed back in November when we moved into our new flat. I've recently got the terrestrial aerial and STB RF output run to the bedroom. However, the picture from the STB RF output is awful, worse than a bad analogue terrestrial signal.

Currently we have the (indoor) terrestrial aerial going into the STB RF in, the RF out goes to the DVD recorder and then to a splitter which has one side linked to the TV in the living room and the other to the Freeview box in the bedroom.

The terrestrial signals are fine to the bedroom but the STB output (currently on channel 69 as it was the best channel I could find) is very poor. The signal is equally bad on the TV in the living room if I tune it to the RF output.

I also notice that RF output seems to drift over time and I have to retune to the TV. Sometimes I have to change the RF output channel to get the TV to tune to the signal again.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,

Paul
