E006 and "Customer Service"

Hello,

Got a new samsung box replacing the old pace several months ago. I haven't really bothered with this on demand stuff but when I did I got this E006 error.

Phoned NTHell last night:

Call 1: Got through straightaway and was told to wait for 15 mins and reboot etc. If that didn't work I was to phone back and they would do something from their end (however their 'end' wasn't currently working!)

Call 2 -
Contact 1: Took longer to get through. Gave my account number, 1st line of address, post code and stated my problem. "Sorry you've come through to the wrong department - I'll put you through to the right one"...

Contact 2: Gave my account number, 1st line of address, post code and stated my problem. "Sorry you've come through to the wrong department - I'll put you through to the right one"...

Contact 3: Gave my account number, 1st line of address, post code and stated my problem. "Sorry you've come through to the wrong department - I'll put you through to the right one"...

Then in a lovable geordie voice "Why man it appears it's reeally busy at tha mowment, why durnt you wait a bit and try again later?"

I've temporarily given up until I calm down!

What's gannin on bonny lads?

Re: E006 and "Customer Service"

to the forums

This might be wrong but I did a bit of searching and found this

"E006 - Pin number has not been setup. Only really relevant to a new customer. Call to CS who should be able to reset the pin remotely"

Some one might pop along and correct me if I am wrong.
