DVD and Hard Drive recorder

Hi.

I'm thinking of buying the LiteOn LVW-5045 DVD and Hard Drive recorder. Good reviews and reasonably priced at under £160.

Any problems or issues connecting it to my aging and slow (but still working) Pace ntl box?

Will any DVD/Hard Drive recorder work okay?

Thanks for any advice.

Don't know the Liteon, but I have a LG dvd/hd recorder, and it works fine with my Samsung STB (replying on general principles, not specifics - sorry).

Re: DVD and Hard Drive recorder

I have a LiteOn DVD Rec which was happily plugged into my Pace until the Pace expired. Just plug the second Scart into the DVD input Scart and the RF bypass into the RF in on the DVD. Then you can record the terrestrial channels from the RF signal or record whatever channel is on the STB from Scart.
