What's your favourite DVD ripper?

There being no good DVD rippers for Linux (other than Acidrip, which has only ever produced out-of-sync AVIs for me), and since I wanted to learn how to programme in something other than Fortran, I've decided to write one.

The encoding backend is pretty much finished, and it has all sorts features that I'm rather proud of.

So now I've got to get started on the actual GUI. As such, I thought I ought to take a look at what other programmes are out there, and that's where I thought you could help

What's application do you use to rip DVDs to your hard-drive? What do you like about it? Are there any screenshots available that I could, um, "use for inspiration"?

By the way, I'm talking about DVD-to-AVI/MP4/Ogg type ripping, not converting DVD9 to DVD5 like DVDShrink does. Google tends to get the two things mixed up a lot, although they're completely different processes

Seems to do the job and is reasonably easy to drive.
