Blank Telewest Vans.
I dunno if this is to do with the merger or anything however I am sure I saw a blank telewest van, It did however have one of them adverts on the side of it saying the deal dunno if it was a "threesome" advert.
Dunno if it is any help.

Re: Blank Telewest Vans.
Actually, i've had 3 ntl people come to my house in the last 4 months, and all their vans are just blank and white, no advertising, no ntl logo, nothing.
In the last 6 months i've never seen a van in my area which has said ntl - i used to see them a lot before this though.

Re: Blank Telewest Vans.
Maybe they are buying new vans to replace the older ones and they have not had them painted yet due to the telewest/ntl merger and now of course Virgin as well

Re: Blank Telewest Vans.
No, ntl wants us to forget the ntl name, so that's why the name is disappearing ahead of the rebrand. The use of the whycable web site is another example of the winding down of the ntl and telewest names.
I'm sure once the rebrand is here, we'll all have forgotton that the cableco was ntl before....

Re: Blank Telewest Vans.
The white unmarked vans tend to be install techs, service techs tend to have the branded vans. The install techs are a little less noticeable and a lot less professional.
Grrr @ failed installs.

Re: Blank Telewest Vans.
I believe that they are all going to rebrand under the "virgin" name

I would imagine that, rather than doing that, they are avoiding the expense of letting new vans with ntl or Telewest when it's already known that the name will disappear.
The "whycable" site is simply a sensible way of unifying traffic from the new joint adverts until the new unified brand comes in.
It all seems quite sensible to me.
