looking to sort out my remote

looking to sort out my remote

my tv is LG42PX3RV-2A
cannot get my stb remote to control the tv ,has anyone else have the code

there is no make or model on there,there is a lg but it is no good

You could try the search method

Press and hold the * key and settings button together until the led flashes green twice
Enter the code 0010 and press ok (led flashes twice again)
Point the remote at your TV and press and hold the power button (on the remote).
The remote will now go through its library of codes, trying a different one in turn (as the led flashes).
At some point (and this can take quite a while) your TV should go to standby. At this point release the power button and press ok. This will commit the code to memory.
AFAIK Repeating the process continues searching through the various codes from where you left off (sometimes necessary if the functions dont all work).
