LE4 increase in speed

I have been checking my data treansfer rate for a couple of weeks. Can anyone give me a link to a reliable test site.

This morning I got a download reading of 1926 kbps from 'speakeasy' from a link through to Seattle, and 1800 kbps from Washington.

Then I tried C-net but only got a 926 kbps. Is this a falsely depressed reading cos they're trying to sell me something.

Regards,
Spheroide

Re: LE4 increase in speed

You can use the speedtest on this site (look in the bars above), or the one I recommend is Dan Elwill's broadband speed test. http://www.broadbandspeedtest.net .

That has the advantage that not being web based, it's results aren't affected by the load on the server holding the test.
