Was in the process of trying to upgrade my broadband to 10mb online on the NTLworld site.I was asked for my postcode of which I submitted, to find myself on the page titled (is NTL available in your area?). I was then presented with a list of addresses numbering from 1 to 12, of which is fine as there is only 12 houses on the road I live..But!!.. there were additional entries for 3 addresses ie. room 1,room 2 and also another for the address itself.These 3 addresses also as a matter of fact receive their NTL services illegaly, chipped boxes etc, I know as have been offered(and declined).
Have I found NTL a fraud detection tool or is it just coincidence, and there is a logical explanation for the additional info on bent addresses?
Probably a stupid question, but just curious
