Windows Movie Maker Final Option.

Hi all

Having now created my master peice ! Well 15 mins of video which is the best way to get it on DVD for good quality

Save as WMV convert to DVD
Save as WMV convert to AVI convert to DVD
Save as AVI then convert to DVD
Save direct back to DV camera then record on DVDR

Not sure if it makes much different ???

Any ideas on the best way forward

Thanks

Re: Windows Movie Maker Final Option.

Whatever you do, don't covert it to WMV which is a heavily compressed format.
Either convert to AVI and burn to DVD or a high quality MPEG.

you didnt say what the original DV camera format was, doing all this conversion could massively effect the final result but that depends on the original and the apps used to cut/edit etc.

at the end of the day if the original DV camera format was within the official CD/DVD spec then forget WMV as the front end for a codec and just use an Mpeg2 cutter to sort your sequences and rewrite the Mpeg2 back out then any CD/DVD app to make it into a DVD iso
