Unhappy Prem Plus rip-off?

Am I reading this right that Telewest are asking £8 a GAME for Prem Plus, where as Sky and ntl can buy season tickets for about £1 a game. Surely Telewest aren't suggesting to rip us off by 800% compared to ntl and Sky?

Re: Prem Plus rip-off?

£8 per game sounds like the cost if you buy a one-off game which both ntl and sky (i think) charge the same price.

The season ticket costs £50 which I would imagine Telewest will also charge, so look out for the difference between the Season Ticket price and a PPV price.

Re: Prem Plus rip-off?

Yeah, the £8/game is a one-off game charge, but unless I'm being stupid (and I hope I am) I can't see a season ticket option on their TV guide. If anyone has bought a Telewest season ticket for Prem Plus, how did you do it?

Cheers!

Try calling TW customer services and asking the question.

Re: Prem Plus rip-off?

On their website, PremPlus is £75 ( ) payable in four monthly installments of £18.75. Still a bit cheeky, as ntl and sky are selling it for £50.

Re: Prem Plus rip-off?

Thanks all. Cheeky that Telewest are pocketing a 50% mark-up on top of ntl and sky - money grabbers
