What Actual Channels are on Base and Family packs

Hi I have been going through the NTL site and found a few pages stating that MTV, Boomerage, Cartoon network is included in base and some that say it is not look at these pages.

http://www.home.ntl.com/page/tvpackagecompare

http://www.home.ntl.com/page/packagecomparechannels

Or if you go to the actual base or family pages

http://www.home.ntl.com/icat/basepack

It shows that MTV is include in Base as well as UK Gold however the packagecomparechannels page says it does not include MTV or UK Gold.

Any ideas if these or other channels are include.

Reason being is I am looking at the 3 for £30 offer and want to decide if i should pay the extra £9,50 a month to get family or invest that £9.00 in getting a 2MB connection.

Weird! We have the family pack and whilst Cbbc and cbeebies are on during the day they become bbc 3 and 4 in the evening. Always had Cartoon Network when we were on analogue so I would guess it is on the base pack (as it is advertised as including CN and Boomerang it must include those even if they exclude them on the comparason chart).

Don't forget they include all the radio stations in that, and all the regional variations of BBC tv and radio, plus all the +1 channels so you are not really getting 100 completely different channels (this applies to what Sky offer as well).

Other than the 3-2-1 phone package the others IIRC involve an extra cost.

MTV UK & and UKTV GOLD are in the base pack. But MTV Base, MTV Dance, MTV Hits and MTV 2 are in family pack.
