Diagnosing NTL STB problems

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on diagnosing problems where the STB seems to be connected ok, but you don't get an IP? I've run an Ethereal packet dump to see what is comming in over the connection, and its basically just loadds ARP requests (from 80.3.53.254 - presumably a NTL router) - about 10 a second. I can see my DHCP request go out, but nothing comming back in.

Anyone got any experiance with this? Surely they'd notice if one of their DHCP servers went down.
