Unhappy NTL:HOME 120 drivers for xp x64

was hoping some1 could help me, thought i'd try windows XP 64 edition.
Came to install modem and drivers don't work the site is down so can't get them there and have to wait a week to get cd sent.

Can i even get drivers to work for xp64, and will the new cd work.

Any help would be useful as the indian guy at ntl technical support had no clue .

I'm assuming you are using USB. If you are, try using Ethernet. You would only need drivers for your Network card or socket.

Welcome to Cable Forum BTW!.

As far as I know you should not need to load any drivers to your PC, unless you are trying to connect via USB. Use ethernet, much more reliable. Power down the PC, and modem for 30 seconds, reboot, and you should be able to run through the setup procedure with your PC autodetecting the connection.

ntl being behind the times on such things probably never produced USB drivers for XP 64
