Re: sony p910i unlocking

Changing an IMEI number is a big no-no.

Dunno about unlocking it. I think you need a specific cable. The one that comes with it won't work.

Re: sony p910i unlocking

no the software uses the iemi number to calculate the unlock code for the phone.

Changing the number is stealing as it is classed as cloning and it is a no no

Re: sony p910i unlocking

But that software cannot unlock P910's anyway - here's what i dug up on the website...

THIS SOFTWARE WILL REMOTE UNLOCK ALL NOKIA
MOBILE PHONES

Just type the IMEI number phone type and network code it will then give you the unlock code to type into the phone.
Not only that but no more guessing which code to use as this software will advice you the best code to use and will also guide you through the process with helpful buttons to guide you along.

MODELS THIS SOFTWARE REMOTE UNLOCK INCLUDE
ALL NOKIA PHONES FROM DCT3 UPWARDS

Including ASIC 6/7 6230 7610 6620 6820 etc

ALL DCT3 Nokia
LOCK 1 & LOCK 2 Codes Provided

Also Support Unlocking For
Samsung Mobiles
LG Mobiles W510 / W520 / G510 / B1200 / M1200 / 7010 / 7020 / 1300 / B1300
Siemens cl50/st55
Panasonic gd50/55
AEG
Vitel
Maxon
Alcatel

Includes
SmartDCT3InfoReaderV1
SmartSagemToolv1

There is no mention of SonyEricsson phones at all.

EDIT:

More info and somebody who will do it for you here

Albeit its for the P900 but the P910 is the same as is my phone the T630 - its a SonyEricsson thing im afraid - you need a special cable to do it (which that place will supply as well)
