Email Black Holed
I have just done a quick search on here and came up with no other threads on this problem so here goes. (It may be me not doing it right)
It looks like a least one of NTL`s Mailers has been black holed by "JAnet" This is the main network backbone provider for most Universities.
I have get this from ac.uk addresses I and others have emailed from NTL accounts
Recipient: <xxxxxxxxx@xxxxxx.ac.uk>
Reason: 5.7.1 <xxxxxxxxx@xxxxx.ac.uk>... Mail from 81.103.221.49 refused by black hole site rbl-plus.mail-abuse.ja.net
Anyone on here work in the Email server section ?

Re: Email Black Holed
Sounds like another blacklist for NTL to get themselves off. I think this also happened with some other blacklists when NTL upgraded their e-mail servers recently. Hopefully, someone from NTL will read this soon.

Re: Email Black Holed
Can't find that IP on any blacklists ATM, but incorrect entries tend to be removed pretty quickly. Have you tried recently?

Re: Email Black Holed
Yet again it was on MAPS blacklist today. This is the reason given by MAPS:
Quote:
81.103.221.35xx.xx.xx.xxx has been removed from our Dynamic User List (DUL) based on corrected information received from NTL. Note that we received a correction at about 10am (UK time) which had many static addresses as being dynamic, including several NTL servers. NTL has provided a revised list which appears to be more accurate and our DUL list has been adjusted accordingly.

Do ntl know how the internet works?
