Printing webpages. AAAGGGGGHHHH!!
I'm having so much trouble with printing webpages its not true. I cant for the life of me get either FF or IE to print webpages so they fit widthwise on an A4 sheet of paper.
If I print a webpage out it just misses the edge off, it never used to do this and I cant find an option to fix it.
Can anyone help? I've attached a PDF showing what I mean. I'm running XP home with SP2.

Re: Printing webpages. AAAGGGGGHHHH!!
Have you checked your printer options, page setup in FF and IE etc?

Can't see an option that would help.

Re: Printing webpages. AAAGGGGGHHHH!!
In Firefox, under the file menu I have page setup, and in there I have shrink to fit page width.
Think there is something similar in IE. Have seen the same problems at times though so I don't know if it's dependant on the page being coded properly.

Re: Printing webpages. AAAGGGGGHHHH!!
Sometimes webpages don't fit on A4 portrait and you have to, as zingle suggests, print in A4 landscape. See File... Page Setup

Re: Printing webpages. AAAGGGGGHHHH!!
does it look ok in 'print preview' Shaun, or is it still pushed over to the right?
on my pc the page looks fine in 'print preview' , using Firefox - and with it set on 'shrink to fit page width' it can be toggled between portrait & landscape, with no problem...

Well I found that option in FF and it works, but I couldn't find an option like that in IE so looks like I'm another convert!
Cheers for the suggestions guys

My Canon bubblejet came with a tool called Easy Web-Print which did something similar for IE - you can download it from their website. I don't know if it works with other printers.

Re: Printing webpages. AAAGGGGGHHHH!!
I seem to recall printing them to PDF before, on a larger size & then priting that from Acrobat.
Apart from that is ******es off lots of people.

Re: Printing webpages. AAAGGGGGHHHH!!
A possible solution (although a bit long winded) could be to use ALT+Print Screen to do a screen capture and then paste that into Photoshop or similar.
