PAce to Samsung STB - remote TV Infra Red control ? ?

Hi

some 3 years ago I got NTL TV/Cable

I needed a method of switching channels from bedroom TV 2 (hard wired)

someone here helpfully pointed me in the direction of Technetix at Wineham nr brighton

They supplied a magic eye looking just like the Sky TVLINK sending the IR signals down the coax cable

Problem : changed STBH to samsung 4 faster broadband - now NO power socket on samsung - says it needs connection to a 500mA supply

anyone got any ideas on this

OR any ideas 4 another piece of kit which would do the same job ie enable NTL IR signals to go from Room 2 to the STB in Room 1 ?

thanks
