Comming from an IBM familly, this is not unusaul, and you get quite used to it after the last 15 years. My dad took the brown envelope last year, and no doubt my mum will if it gets offered, Im just pleased I got out of there when I did. Its not forthe faint harted and is a completly different kind of place to work than anywhere else.
