Jamie (Oliver)'s School Dinners
Hooray for Jamie Oliver,
He's managed to get more money for kids dinners, now we need to educate the kids and there parents.
I'm watching the rerun of 'Jamie's School Dinners', it made me mad, all kids wanting to eat c**p.

Re: Jamie Oliver
Blimey, with all the gifts from Tony lately, you'd think that there was an election coming up!

Re: Jamie Oliver
All we need to do now is wait for the runners up (Tories) to say what they would do

Re: Jamie (Oliver)'s School Dinners
A small edit to the thread title to clarify things a little ...
Well done to him, I say. I don't believe for one moment that that slimy bean-counter of an education secretary had any intentions of doing anything about this. What a coincidence that the big giveaway coincides with the presentation of a massive petition and the climax of Jamie's campaign.

Re: Jamie (Oliver)'s School Dinners
Yeah, its endearing to think people can still influence policy and make a difference.
If there wasn't an election coming up, would Jamie still have had the success? I doubt it.

Or chicken nuggets, Nugget? I like the dictionary definition of "nugget" - a small solid lump.

Pah! 60 miles? I'll be there at 6 tonight, no worries
Oh, I ... eerrrrrrrr ... that's it ... I appear to have lost my car keys, and they want me to work late, and I've got no petrol in the car anyway, and I've had a drink!
I'll get you next time, Huth boy

Re: Jamie (Oliver)'s School Dinners
Ah, I see. The way to get government policies changed for the better is to get a high profile celebrity expert in the subject to make an "issue" of it in the form of a TV show that gets high ratings.
Any celebrity doctors, nurses or policemen, out there?
