Creating a book/leaflet/glossy mag

Are there any sites on the Internet that will allow you to make a book or something like that? I want to be able to create Brochure /soft cover books and other such stuff. Basically I wondered if there was an online publishing site? (When I say book, I donââ‚Âà ‚¬ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¾Ã‚¢t mean like a novel. I mean like Brochure and stuff)

Re: Creating a book/leaflet/glossy mag

You might be better off visiting a local publisher and asking them to do it for you

Re: Creating a book/leaflet/glossy mag

Why not use a DTP package, even if it's just MS Publisher, and then take your saved masterpiece to a local printing company such as this

Re: Creating a book/leaflet/glossy mag

its seems like a no brainer. You want a glossy publication so your send off a word document or somthing and they do top quality printing. Even if you just create a coursework file, want it bound and well printed.....

Re: Creating a book/leaflet/glossy mag

one possible diy solution I have used is fineprint

http://www.fineprint.com/products/fineprint/index.html

with a decent printer/media it can produce good results that just need professionally binding, in my opinion

Yes, but whatever you do, DON'T use the supplied templates. Makes me cringe whenever I see them being used.

Re: Creating a book/leaflet/glossy mag

There is a company on the web that will publish a singl;e book for you.
You write it, send it to them they then print them off when you get an order for them etc.
They take a percentage, but it wasn't too expensive.

I'll try & find out who it was.

Fire up Azureus, find yourself a nice Quark torrent, and start downloading.

Did I just say that out loud?
