Half life II and computer security

Hi, I just bought HLII. This is the first on-line game I have so I do need some tips.
Can anyone tell me how to deal the internet security. I am using Linksys router and ZoneAlarm firewall. Is it safe to open both inbound and out bound for HLII? What is the best measure I should take?

Many thanks! FrankL

The best thing to do is just give it what it asks for, I can't remember if it needs "server" for the server browse list or not.
