VOD Question
Sorry if I've missed something, but when do new films get added to the VOD? I've watched what I wanted to from the launch package, but I can't seem to find any of the newer films which are available to people with the Front Row service.
To be honest I don't even know if I can get to Front Row anymore.
Confused...

Re: VOD Question
At least you've got it!
Question: How often is new free content being added?

Re: VOD Question
The pick of the week stuff (BBC free content) is updated pretty regularly - but it is cherry picked at the moment - typically a weeks worth of Eastenders/Casualty, some documentary series, plus some stufff from CBeebies
Pretty decent for free.
I checked the movies last night after a reboot, and Front Row still seems to have far more up to date stuff

so did rebooting do the trtick?
yeah VOD stuff is updated quite regularly, but the free content is still a bit thin for my liking, I ould like to see more channels like Discovery type ones, itv and the likes adding to this.

Re: VOD Question
Yeah, but TBH I'm still not to impressed, no I, Robot, no Harry Potter.
Have these appeared on Front Row? They are listed as on Front Row this month..
Oh, and thanks for the welcome

Re: VOD Question
There is no need to reboot the STB to update the page, simple go out and back into the page this will make a new request to the server for the information. The same technique as a HTML page request. You are always getting the most upto date listings, they can be updated at any time.

Re: VOD Question
That's what I was gettign at though, they may be on Front Row, but not all of them are showing up on VOD, so far I have missed out on Shrek 2, Van Helsing and Thunderbirds (off the top of my head).
The young master and lady of the house are most annoyed

Re: VOD Question
Because its not the same service they don't necessarily have to show the same films. Although I would expect FilmFlex to offer these movies at some point I had been told that films will not necessarily be added to both services at the same time

Re: VOD Question
I guess that would make sense, is the VOD service (Filmflex?) not tied to a couple of the studios, so they may be more likely to favour their own content?

Re: VOD Question
well on my system, I press on demand, and go for films, then pick what I want.
front row has been re branded as filmflex as far as I am aware.
