Re: e-buyer
I had an awful experience with ebuyer... http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/showthread.php?t=9372
I believe Ebuyer don't have a contact number but i found this on another forum.... it's worth a try!
Quote:
The euyer phone number is 0870 467 5030 (available from their domain name reg) - press 4 and then the # key (it took me a while to figure this out) and it will ask you for the surname of the person you want to speak to.
I just pressed a random selection of keys - some took me to voice mail boxes, some just rang and rang - eventually I hit a valid combination and got someone to answer the phone - he was pleasant but a bit shocked to get a call from a customer. He tried to transfer me but got no answer ... I didn't get arsey with him as it's only a change of delivery address I need to make - the goods are with the courier (somewhere). He took my details and I'll give them a chance to call me.

I have seen reported on other sites that Ebuyer has recently moved to a new location and not all staff wanted to relocate so at the moment they are running on a drastically reduced staffing level which means they are swamped

Re: e-buyer
Had a similar problem with eBuyer a while back but when I contacted them they were very good and sorted it out in the end.
Isn't there a bit in the accounts section (you may have to trawl a bit ) where you can either choose a substitute product or ask for a refund?

Re: e-buyer
Just a general observation - why not have the goods delivered to your work address ( yes, I know they won't do it on your 1st order), but most (lots?) companies have security etc who can accept the good, either 24 hours or at least working hours - saves all this booking days off etc, won;t leave it with next door etc
Works for me

Re: e-buyer
*sigh* ebuyer get almost as much of a bashing here as ntl do. Personally, I've always found 'em to be great - no problems whatsoever, and I've spent more than the GDP of a medium sized African country buying stuff from them.
Just out of interest cause I'm a nosey git, why d'you want your money back? Cause they've discontinued the item, or cause it's not been delivered on time?
If I was you, I'd check the status of the delivery on your account page of their site. They sent you emails in relation to the shipping of your order, so it's in their system. This means you'll be able to check where in their chain your order is at, and if it has been shipped, then you'll be able to get the tracking number of which courier they used. Maybe the problem is with the courier and not ebuyer...?

If you want your money back the easy way, contact your bank. Amazon decided not to deliver some items to me recently, when I told my bank there was no telephone number listed on their site (which there isn't) they did some investigating, refunded the amount then went off to claim it back from Amazon.

Re: e-buyer
I just ordered some stuff from ebuyer I should have read all these threads first.
They have an amazon like super saver delivery (we keep in the warehouse for a week just to **** you off, but you get it delivered for free), and as it did cost much I thought it was worth the wait. Here's hoping it arrives....

Re: e-buyer
e-buyer messed up a delivery with me as well............it took me several e-mails to get the next day delivery fee refunded. I think it'd due to them being snowed under with complaints since the Christmas debacle....

Re: e-buyer
In the 3 years I've been ordering from e-buyer, I have not had a problem with them, only the rubbish, well lazy courier company they use.
