Buggy eXeem Beta Public Now Open!
For all those that are interested you can get a version of eXeem Lite here..
http://exlite.net/
Apparently when it asks for a Serial number, just close the window and off you go.
Brilliant eh...
Shame almost nobody knows about it yet so there is hardly any files and that apparently there are quite a few bugs - including the possibility it may not work at all.
Neowins talking about it over here

Re: Buggy eXeem Beta Public Now Open!
Hope it does I hear about this and have made a tread about suprnova.org's program which I believe they remotely have had things to do with this program, it needs help, and it needs files and most of all it needs people for it to work.

Depends on the site which sents it out, no doubt some sites will try to package there rubbish with it, making it full of spyware and other nasties.
I will try to find a clean source for it, and get a link on here to avoid all the rubbish links.
After Klite ( Kazaalite) went offline many sites packages klite up with spyware and made you pay for it .

A "clean" free version can be found above. It is fast and it is very good.
But how can one browse (not search) for files? When you publicize, what exactly happens?

eXeem Released
eXeem public beta has now been released - http://www.exeem.com/
Contains 'Cydoor' adware though (only used when app is open, apparently)...
From EULA -
Quote:
The software program you are about to install is an "adware" program,
meaning that we have partnered with Cydoor Technologies to deliver
small ads to the main window of the application, in order for Swarm
to bring targeted advertising.
The software will display web content such as banner ads, e-commerce offers,
news headlines and other value-added content. Cydoor Technologies created
this technology, and provides it to software developers to implement in
software programs. In turn, software developers choose to display ads
so that you can enjoy their products for FREE, and they can still earn
revenue from advertising.
How does it work?
The Cydoor component of a software application is simply a caching mechanism, which stores ads on your hard drive, and displays them only while the program is open. When the ads have expired, the component deletes old ads and contacts Cydoor's servers in order to receive new ones. To do this, the Cydoor component uses your Internet connection, which was designed to take up the minimum bandwidth on your line. Each ad banner on your hard disc is about 10Kbyte.

Re: [Merged] eXeem
Spyware crap, one to avoid methinks.
There's nothing wrong with BitTorrent anyway.
