Question Search Engine (on Website)

I have a Domain. It has a folder with 10-20 Text Files (around 500kb - 1MB)

I was looking for a Search feature I could add to this, then when I type a Word (or Words) in, it shows if that term is in the Text, and shows the FULL line of TEXT.

I looked at a few, but the did NOT work with .txt only HTML

Any ideas? All .txt files in 1 folder

Re: Search Enging (on Website)

Hi.

Have you looked at the Zoom Search Engine from www.wrensoft.com

the free version indexes 50 pages and comes with no advertising, only a link at the bottom of the search page which you can disable.

Will index in .js .asp .php .cgi

Can selected to search words hilighted if found, plus lots of other options making it highly customizable.
Thought I would mention it as I use it on 2 of my sites, search page has a similar layout to Google results.
