Unhappy Very old ntl: digital Pace box problems

Over the last couple of months I've been getting a lot of break up in picture on most ntl: channels. Nothing else has changed in my house since broadband was installed about 3 years ago. It is an old Pace box though, with a blue remote. I have no idea what model it is as I can find no reference on Pace's site to older models like this.

I suspect it's quite unlikely ntl: would consider swapping it for a newer model so is there anything else I can do to fix it? Like most other people I also have freezes almost every time I accidentally press the pesky red button and the very annoying 12:10am channel change.

I believe the model number is on the underside of Pace boxes.

Re: Very old ntl: digital Pace box problems

There is usually a label under the STB with the model number on.

Could be a signal level issue or a box problem. Give NTL a call and they will fix the problem, maybe with a new STB.
