Question Downloading email

Hi all,

Been having trouble d/loading email into Outlook.

When I request a send / recieve - Outlook just sits there trying to connect - I have the timeout set to maximum.

The same think also happens with MailWasher.

However - I can access and d/load my email using the POP connector on my Yahoo account. The settings in Outlook and MailWasher have not changed.

Have you added any virus or firewall software. Some can change the ports that mail is sent and recived on.

Phew! At least it's not just me having this problem! I think it has something to do with this email upgrade thats ongoing until Thursday 18th!

I assume that collecting POP mail via Yahoo does the same as Outlook - as in sends the same SMTP commands etc?
