Firefox question
Hi there
Would anyone know why after downloading the moox firefox for my athlon xp (M2) when i try to import my favorites from I.E the thing crashes. I just get the Firefox has encountered a problem and has had to close down. This was really ****ing me off, i tried a few times but to no avail. So i`m back to good old stable I.E6 Any ideas ????????

Doesn't Firefox import favorites automatically.....or does it crash when it gets to that step of it's install?

Re: Firefox question
This used to happen to me, I initially got around it by not importing cookies and only importing favourites at first, Do you have IE open when you are trying the import?

You'll find the 'official' Firefox Preview Release to be more good and stable (and a hell of a lot more secure) than old IE. Click the link in my sig and get downloading. With all due respect to the Moox edition, it is the project of a single man, so far as I can see, and will not have been subject to the same rigorous peer review as the version distributed directly by Mozilla.
Don't judge Firefox until you've tried the real thing! If you have the same problem with importing after that, you could try the Mozillazine forum: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewforum.php?f=38

I'm at present trying to get used to firefox, all my favourites have not been imported, just some of them.
There are a few things / quirks to try and get over, 1st is multi-quoteing / different people, I cant quote>copy>back to thread>quote someone else>paste first quote gonna take some getting used to if i stick with it ?

Re: Firefox question
Nope the install is fine and it works ok. It`s just the fav`s that`s a problem. Maybe it`s the moox version, i dunno.

Course you will, but you might try a different way - tabbed browsing is a superb tool, you can have the forum open in several tabs but all one browser window. Much quicker than using your back button as well.

You seemed to be asking if we thought you'd get used to it if you stuck with it ... I was trying to be supportive and encouraging
