A Situation

My Gran has deicded to get rid of NTL Broadband because it costs too much and does not use it enough to keep broadband. On the 4th of November I think it is NTL said that she would not have broadband from then, fiar enough. Now what my Gran forgot to say is that she would like to go back up on dialup. Anyway I phoned up for a disk and they said register online which I have done. The main reason about this is the e-mail address, when I told NTL can we keep the same address they said yes but I would need to contact Technical Services. Why can't I when I reinstall the disk just put in my Gran's old user details?

Please help.

Thanks in advance.

Re: A Situation

I think the old details are kept reserved for a certain ammount of time in case someone changes their mind and goes back on broadband. That way they can go back and continue with their old adress etc and not have to create a new one.
Contacting TS will allow them to move the details across so that they can be used again straight away.

Re: A Situation

I have managed to setup the dial-up connection and she is not too worried about her e-mail address chaning.
