If you're on analogue then an all for one should do it, if not then google for
red eye remote and there are a list of compatible remotes and equipment there

HTH

If you report it to customer services they may well send you a new one.

Yes ok thankyou very much for the help all, but I have tried all those suggestions and all has failed (apart from borrowing one is a good idea) but its the old videotron decoder like 1987 ? my grandma once had one but unfortunatley she aint about no more.

Casting my memory back the chances of getting a Videotron remote are slim, usually they send an engineer out to swap the whole box for a general instruments/jerrald one.

Best of luck Jaycee2k3 in finding a remote! Might be worth giving customer services faults a call anyway - sometimes theres key combinations on the stbs that fix break things - but don't ask me to remember it was a long time ago.
