missing channels

Hi,

My cable box is missing channels. Either greyed out on the favourites list, or missing entirely.

I've unplugged the thing for a few minutes, and reset the channel favourites to default list. Still the same. Also, the remote chann+ button turns it to standby.

The box is a pace one. Any ideas?

Thanks

Re: missing channels

You normally see disabled channels on the list if the channels are available but you are not subscribed to them. If you are subscribed to the missing channels, you should call customer services.

The remote control issue is usually caused by flat batteries in the remote control. Try changing them. The remotes for Pace boxes are weird in that when the batteries get low they don't stop working, they just behave unpredictably.

Unhappy Re: missing channels

I understand that, but the channels that are missing are particularly cbbc/cbeebies that are part of the package.

Also the ch+/- buttons on the unit won't allow me to select cbbc/cbeebies.

Am I missing something on the menu's, or is the dreaded call to NTL going to have to happen?

Re: missing channels

Sounds like you have to call them then. You could try checking all the connections, and remove / reinsert the card too.
