Mailbox over quota??

I have been telephoned by some of my friends, telling me that my email is bouncing with 'mailbox over quota' messages. I went straight in and checked and I had....
SIX!
22K!

So... whats my limit and is there a problem? (I see that there is an outage due 0100 to 0500 19/10). Are they limiting the emails for this fix?

Try checking your webmail to see if you have any emails in other folders, or in the Trash.

Done! Nothing in any folders that I can see.

It's just me then?

Re: Mailbox over quota??

I have sent myself some test emails, and they arrived OK. I checked from another account and no bounce, so..

Just a glitch, then?

have you checked that the 'trash' folder in webmail is not chocker with stuff? as that is a common solution.

edit: I see that already got mentioned - sorry about that

I had a situation once where a long forgotten 'forward the message to' another email account was the issue and it was that other account that was causing the aggro

I have - thanks for the PM. I don't usually use webmail. When these large emails were sent, I deleted them on webmail. Trash, I now understand, does not mean delete!
Anyway all files deleted and all is well. Thanks for the pointers!
