Samsung losing channels
Has anyone else had a problem with the Samsung box losing channels? If I try and move The Dating Channel, Celtic TV or Nick Toons in the favourites list then save the new favourites order then one or more of these channels vanishes. Looking at the PGUP/PGDN/BLUE log there's an entry there reportsing that a channel has the same pid as a disabled channel. Resetting the box then brings the channels back at the end of the favourites list. Weird.

When you say the channels vanish, what exactly do you mean? And what is the exact wording of the message in the event log?

They are no longer in the list of favourites and it isn't possible to access them by cycling through the channel up / down buttons. I don't think they're accessible by typing in the channel number directly either, although I could be wrong.

DPS erase same pid in other disabled channel.

Re: Samsung losing channels
I've noticed that message in my samsungs event log before, but never associated it with anything in particular. This morning, total channels (also in page up, page down , blue) showed 288 channels. After a reboot, it showed 290, which is what it is normally. I don't know if I'm loosing the same channels or not, cos I either dont subscribe to them, or dont watch them.

The number of services includes the Front Row movies shown on channel 0. It depends on how many are being shown at the time when you check it in the diags screen.
