On windows xp, in the view network connections, it shows the LAN connection for the ethernet/broadband. If I choose the disable connection, does this mean that there is definately no inbound traffic allowed as well as outbound?
I use that all the time when I'm playing a game which will stress my main PC out.
I just disable it, shutdown Zone Alarm and quit AVG to free up some memory.
Sometimes it will mess up the connection if you disable/enable too many times without rebooting though.
