Determining connection speeds

I've just caught up with the NTL commitment to increase speeds at no cost

How can I tell what speed I'm actually getting at present. For weeks now it seems to be getting consistently slower?

Has this upgrade actually taken place in the Leicester area?

TIA

Re: Determining connection speeds

Thanks Swoop - I've just this minute replaced a USB connection with ethernet and things are now much faster. This test shows I'm getting what I am paying for!

Probably not, Im under the impression that customers will be informed when their upgrade will take place (hopefully by snail mail )
