not surprised really

i reckon the increase in the price of crude is going to cause mayhem , i honestly believe there will be more fuel protests sooner rather than later

Interesting you say that Paul... the price of a litre of unleaded is now higher in most places than it was at the time of the protests.

I'm sure the government has plans in place to stop any protest from being as effective again.

The rises quoted by Kronas are WAY above inflationary.

Re: water and electricity prices to rise.

If prices are to rise over the next dacade to help with upgrades and repairs, have they suggested whether the prices will drop after the completion or will they just sit happily on big profits until next time they need to do repairs and they increase the prices again.

-just a thought

Allen

Re: water and electricity prices to rise.

Apparently it all China's fault.Their economy is apparently 'overheating' and oil and gas are going up in price because they have become such high consumers of them to keep up their industrial growth.Well so they said on the news this evening.

Re: water and electricity prices to rise.

I have seen plenty of roadworks, replacing water piping.

However, my water pressure is still too low to allow me to use an electric shower. THis will be my first complaint when they try to raise my bill.

I have seen no improvements to the electricity supplies at all.
