i get an ip address/mail when I go there so it has to be fake.

well i just went there ..set it up sent mail to another account and from the other account back to it and it works

Tried doing lookups on the IP, can't find anything.

Interestingly, do a search for goomail on Google and it's all chinese !!!! answers.

EDIT: It's a M$ Windows box running Icewarp.

I'd be very careful, could be a con to gain email addreses or other information.

especially as using Google colours to assume affiliation.
