One month free 150K broadband for loyal customers

Loyal NTL customers (like me) can get one month free.

I expect the offer is national as it is in the Radio Times. Basically if you have had the service for 12 months or more, you can canel your contract and start a new one and thus you can get £17.99 discount.

This makes the price much nearer to that of Tiscali, and thus makes the price more competitive and fairer.

They may even just give you the discount and not stop your contract.

You get a new contract, & you lock yourself in for another 12 months.

Not a bad idea of there's really considering the daft price there asking for the service. 3 months free ha NTL wont be loosing a thing

I haven't seen the advert, but from what you are saying, loyal customers are getting nothing, but new customers are getting a £17.99 discount.

My thoughts exactly. It's after you do this that they turn round, crank up the charge by a couple of quid and decrease the cap limit too!

As usual though, if you call up one area you might be lucky and if you call up another they will tell you to take a running jump!

Re: One month free 150K broadband for loyal customers

If you are quite happy with your 150k service, and intend to keep it, then it looks a good deal to me - not every NTL customer is as negative as some of you lot.

Re: One month free 150K broadband for loyal customers

yes sorry - should have said the offer is aimed at new customers. I think people are being a bit negative - yes the service is overpriced and they are quite right to slag it off - but this is a genuine way to make it cheaper for loyal customers. It basically makes the prices more or less reasonable for the whole year so it doesn't matter that you are locked into another 12 month conract.

also - some people have no alternative to using NTL so please remember the less fortunate people on the forums.

Re: One month free 150K broadband for loyal customers

But they are not putting the price of 150k up are they? They did that LAST year.

If they do I may just have to try someone else which would involve so many changes like going back to BT for one.

Re: One month free 150K broadband for loyal customers

They don't have a written down anywhere that they can only put up prices once a year..

Think of it this way if loads move down to 600k and cancel the tv packages then they will have less money going in.

Less money to give the top brass the fat bonuses...
