Don't you just hate guide books which are written by people who obviously have never been anywhere near the UK??

Re: Afternoon tea????
I prefer croquet, while the servants get the tables ready for tea. Later we retire to the drawing room to await the great hall being set for dinner. Then it's dancing in the ballroom.

Re: Afternoon tea????
 Scones,jam and cream,
Incog.
p.s.Back from Wales by the way.It stayed dry for once and the rain DIDN'T chase us home as it usually does.Had a nice weekend catching up with family.
The guide books NEVER get Wales right.

Re: Afternoon tea????
The book is completely wrong anyway - everyone knows you stop for tea at 11am, not 4pm.
