I haven't heard anything reagrding this or any rumours of it coming next month. I would expect there to be some kind of promotion of this if it was coming soon but ntl can spring things on you sometimes. :pp

Re: SSX interactive + sky news interactive
Hopefully the Langley CR3 rollout will begin in March. I would be surprised if there were any major e-TV developments immediately, however. The BBCi stuff that Bromley have is likely to be available, but probably not much more until NTL have made sure all their stuff is working correctly. Don't forget, Langley CR3 is a very big deal.
When a red-button service is launched on the Sky channels, I think it's unlikely that there will be a lot of fanfare. That doesn't seem to be NTL's style, so far at least. Having said that, it's possible that they haven't promoted these things thus far for fear of agravating Langley customers, the vast majority of whom won't know or understand why the 'NTL' customer in the next town can have Wimbledon interactive but they can't.
I would also be very surprised if the red-button content for Sky channels was equal to that available on Sky Digital. There are a great many issues between the two companies regarding carriage -- why would Sky be willing to pay for bandwidth for all the Sky News streams, when the only people to benefit will be their main rival's customers? In my opinion this is yet another reason why Sky's content and supply divisions should be separated by the regulator, but that's a side issue...

Re: SSX interactive + sky news interactive
sky active on ntl would be a dumbed down version. i.e sky news screens only 1/3 of the screen instead of full. sky would get money from votes (like 20p per vote) - and also they could put ads on there (not for sky products, ntl wouldn't let them) and sky would make more money. sky would end up making some money, they'll find a way!

If Sky didn't want ntl to have their interactive services then they wouldn't have started talks with them!

Sky wanting ntl to offer it's interactive services is one thing-ntl's network being able to offer them is another.

Sky dont really want ntl to have their Interactive services..........BUT they dont want to lose the ability to Promote/Advertise digital Satellite on Cable versions of the Sky Channels.....which ntl could easily take away

quote from page...
This new colour scheme is rubbish. Can I have my old blue CR2 back?
No. You will get used to it after a while. The 'Original Areas' people have.
LOL, thanks for that :p
they should have an option to choose your colour... blue or pinky purple. They'd soon see how unpopular the purple seems to be lol
